All of us who organized the St.OA on September 19th, 2020, decided to found an association. The founding meeting for this and thus of course the founding of the association was on November 21st, 2020. At the same time, we decided to call ourselves Streetzrock eV.

Our aim is to promote art and culture, which is why we have been granted non-profit status. To this end, we organize at least one open air event every year (the St.OA).

Why the move to the club?

It's simple! Organizing an open air event is fun, it's enjoyable, it's individual in its design and full of ideas.

When organizing the events in 2019 and 2020, everything was done, more or less, by one person. Organizing further events in this way would be complicated and not sustainable for one person. Several people should share the responsibility and planning in order to ensure a good future for events not Every event needs as many helpers as possible so that tasks can be distributed across several shoulders, making the work and the processes much more relaxed for everyone.

Furthermore, there is nothing like a strong community that can work together towards a common goal and share their fun and joy among like-minded people.

What can you expect from us?

First and foremost, enthusiastic people who want to establish a rock/metal open air event in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. On September 19, 2020, despite Corona and Corona restrictions, it was shown that almost anything is possible. It was a lot of fun to prove to everyone that nothing is impossible!

What else?
The experience of building up and revitalizing the Streetzrock eV association from the roots. Definitely gaining interesting experience as an organizer, definitely seeing enthusiastic visitors at the events who will come back to St.OA again and again in the future, that great feeling of having created something good. Again, this is only possible through work in front of and behind the scenes.

At our founding meeting, we charged a membership fee of fifty euros per year. The amount of the fee is based on the number of members and the running costs of the association itself.
